Smarter Communities is thrilled to announce that Sunitha Alexander has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective 21 March 2022. A highly experienced and respected senior leader, Sunitha succeeds Alex Lang, who recently resigned after a successful four-year tenure.
Since joining Smarter Communities, Sunitha has successfully devised and implemented a growth framework that played an instrumental role in driving record customer, revenue, and profitability growth. Sunitha’s team also delivered the largest customer win in company history and secured a substantial development pipeline for the next three years. She brings with her 20+ years of commercial real estate experience in the United States, Canada, and Australia with CBRE, Colliers, and JLL, where she helped secure new business worth $10B in deal value.
